I wanted to thank you for your insights on the two Lessing books I reviewed. I don't know about larger themes, I just took Ben to represent all the social misfits that we pretend are invisible. The mentality ill, the homeless, uncontrollable young people; Ben was all of these. And the chilling statement at the end of Ben, In the World exposed our true feelings. We're glad to be rid of them so we don't have to deal with them. I thought it was insightful of her, and brave, to tell the truth in a novel. Thank you for reading my reviews.
Sandra, I thing Lessing is a great writer (though I don´t like all her books), and The Fifth Child was seen by many as a very early example of the postmodern fiction of the 1990s. It is a good and exciting read, and extremely teachable. It is not surprising either that Lessing is a bit ahead of her time; she has always been good at approaching new themes.
- and it seems that I will have to translate the new scenes of "The Visitor." LOL

Yes I would! That was a terrific bit of writing, very professional to my mind. It makes me want more.

Yes, me too, I'd like to hear what happened next!
Tim, I remember that you liked the first bit. Now I hope I can live up to your expectations.
Yes, I want to read more about Emma! But, it could also work as flash fiction.
Yes! I would love to read more. That is a very enticing, tempting scene.
Cathryn and Belle: thank you very much (I have translated most of it and plan to bring the first scene tomorrow Saturday).
Cathryn, I think I begin to know what flash fiction is. Perhaps I should imitate you and others who have figured out that flash is perfect for a blog.
