As I am having a short Saturday (going off to a celebration tonight), I have decided to spend my day washing & writing, instead of blogging.
No problem, as I am sure many of my readers are going to enjoy this post with some glimpses of a charming capital just as much as my reviews anyway.

Super photos!! Just my kind of thing. I will be in Scotland sometime in the next 12 to 18 months!
As I said, Beth, I knew some of my readers would enjoy this post just as much as any old review LOL
Great that you are going to Scotland! It is a wonderful country.
Great photos. Scotland's on my list of places I want to visit! It looks like such a beautiful, beautiful place.
Belle, Scotland was (is) wonderful. But what I wanted to show you was that with a couple of good photos you can create a good post in five minutes ;)
Ah, you saw the cat!
Ann, we did! - and the cow and the dog :)
I can't make out the sign in that first photo. Is it Fleshmarket Close, ir Ian Rankin fame?

Peter, not quite as interesting as that. If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you will see that it is Advocates Close. I really liked all their alleys and closes, however. The old town is a real treat.
