Thy´s Day # 33

Two pictures which may explain why we are spending
a few weeks in our cottage - again.

A smart little Kindle is much handier than my current TBR chaos.

Dorte - I am so glad you are enjoying your Kindle!! Maybe at some point I will save up the money and get one, too. For now, it's so good to know it is working out for you.

eReaders are perfect for traveling! Are you painting or refinishing the floors or both?

Is the top photo a before or after? It looks quite lovely to me!

Do you dare take your Kindle to the bathtub with you? :)

Are you off on a lovely holiday? Maybe a bit of a working holiday? I can't think of anything better than taking an e-reader. So handy. So much room! :)

Margot: it is a fine tool and a great way to receive review books.

Beth: it´s both walls, roof and floor. Fortunately we don´t have to do the actual work ourselves.

Kelly: this is before, but if you got a bit closer you´d be able to see the smudges - and the bodies of long-dead insects ;D

Of course I dare take my Kindle to the bathtub (easy to say as we don´t have any).

Joanne: no holiday, just working away from home. And it does feel comforting indeed to have a Kindle with thirty books lying around when you have had to leave most of your paper books behind at home.

Enjoy the cottage time, and get lots of reading done. Writing too?

I've never had to suffer through long renovations/ redecorating, thank heavens. If I had that prospect, I'd move out too!

Dorte H sagde ...

Vanda: well, I´ve had a bit of cleaning and chauffering to do, but today has been a fine writing day. 1600 words plus a two-page plot for a new thing I´d like to write.

That floor is gorgeous.

What a beautiful room.

The Kindle looks very compact and useful, but I do love your stacks of books!

Dorte H sagde ...

Patti: yes, but I think the room is perhaps a bit too minimalistic.

Cathryn: I can probably go back home to my books on Monday or Tuesday.
