Under Cover 1

THE SOLUTION: ANN CLEEVES´ RED BONES

Anyone who wants to play? I just received a huge parcel - my May and June books. (I know I am behind real time, but don´t worry - I never forget to spend my book budget, I just want time to enjoy the process of selecting my gems).

Here are some pictures of the first cover - sorry I was too busy to take some proper photos, but I am sure some of you smart people can guess which book this is.

If you know, just leave a hint in your comment.

Warning: if you are good at this, I most certainly will see it as encouragement to bring more of these posts!

Oh, you will love this installment of the little woolly isles!

The family name of the inspector in the first and third cover sounds familiar to me.
I'll give it another thought at the second cover, it also sounds familiar but not sure yet.

Dorte, can I just recommend that you save the images as image1 image2 etc.
That's just the bones of my recommendations

Bernadette sagde ...

I think it might be one of the colour books by a writer from Donna Moore's part of the world

Jose Ignacio Escribano sagde ...

Oh I got it now. The second one is also .... but the hardcover.

How clever you all are! - but then I knew you would be.

And Jose, yes, I have found 3 covers of the same book. I thought it was fair to give more readers a chance of recognizing it.

I think this is a book by an author who does much to promote Scandinavian (or Nordic!) crime fiction but is only quite near that part of the world in one of her series? And another series (not pictured here) is due for a TV series later this year, in the UK? If I am correct, in the middle book of this series is a word which makes me think the title has the same initials as one of the other books in this series.

- I am sure you *are* correct and that this is a perfectly simple English sentence, but suddenly I feel very sleepy :D
I´d better go to bed and study it again tomorrow.

Everyone else is far more clever than I since I'm totally 'lost' on this post!!

Kelly: of course it is not everybody who knows - you are just the first person to admit you don´t!! :D

I have added the solution for you now.
