Dorte - Yikes! What a thing to find in the house! You did get some terrific pictures, though.
Margot: If you just leave them alone... In fact I didn´t even do that. I took my pictures, chased the wasp out of the window, and removed the nest. I was amazed at how much it had done in a few hours, though.
Scary!
I was moving a bale of pine straw a couple of days ago and heard a noise that I thought was running water...nope. It was a nest of bumblebees inside the pine needle bale! Scared me to death....
We've had a few wasps in the house but thankfully no nest.
Oh my!! We have our share find their way into the house, but I've never had a nest inside. That really is amazing!
I guess all the comments we made during this time have been lost. I lost a couple of posts I worked on in draft. *sigh*
I did find this photo a little alarming. We get our share of wasps in the house, but they've never built any nests inside that I've found!
Kelly: I was quite fortunate that I had only scheduled ONE post, but I should have been guest posting today - don´t know what happened to that post yet.
Thank you for commenting again. I didn´t worry too much about the lonely wasp - I just chased it out and closed the window :D
Ewwwww!!!!! (I restored my comments by hand).
Beth: but also fascinating - the wasp I mean, not Blogger´s behaviour.
