Thy´s Day # 4

What you see is what we get
- and beneath you can see what we are dreaming of.

Dorte - I know you have had quite a lot of snow this year, and are dreaming of warmer weather. But I am glad you are sharing the pictures, because I miss snow and winter weather. Where I live, there just isn't any snow - ever. There are no real weather changes, either.

Margot: in the beginning it was fun, and I enjoyed the beautiful view, but after 3-4 weeks you grow tired of cancelled lessons (after all, you just have fewer days to teach your students the same so ...), wading through 50 cm snow to the woodshed and driving very slowly to and from work. Well, we will survive, and of course our changeable weather gives us something to talk about ;D

I find your snow pictures breathtaking! I'm sure it does get tiresome pretty quickly, though.

Although we get nothing like you do, we do often have some of our coldest temperatures in the month of February. So....I'm afraid winter isn't over yet!

I have to admit I love and appreciate this winter with all it`s snow. For once it`s winter like when we were kids. But I know I`m lucky not having to cope with all the difficulties just al the joy of a real Disney- kind of winter...And it makes me long for springtime in a new special way, I nearly had forgotten.

Kelly: it IS beautiful, but after 3-4 weeks it is not exactly a novelty :D

Bente: apart from driving to work it doesn´t bother me either, and it is much better than gray and wet weather - but still I really want to see spring flowers soon.

NB: selv om jeg efterhånden skriver mest på engelsk, er min blog altså tosproget, så du behøver ikke skrive kommentarer på engelsk. Det er helt frivilligt, og jeg har da danskere, som skriver på dansk.

I love this with and without series! I hope the flowers aren't too far away. We got 14 inches of snow today, but the sun is out and I hope all of it melts soon.

Beth: 14 inches - you need some good boots then! We didn´t get that much this week, but in early February we got around one metre in a few days, and much of it is still lying around (but we don´t air our dirty snow in public, do we?) :D
