Proximidade Award

This great award was given to me by Lilly, Reading Extravaganza. Thank you so much, Lilly.

And here is what the award stands for:

"This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this clever-written text into the body of their award."

And now I was supposed to choose eight new people to award, but when I read the words above I know that my obvious choice is to award my ´virtual living-room´, the Crime and Mystery Fiction Reading room I spend so much time in. This room is where I find inspiration for new books and authors, and this is where I get 90 per cent of my comments, a great deal of encouragement, constructive critique and gentle bullying (difficult to decide what I enjoy the most).

So, Maxine (our administrator) and my 60 fellow members of the room: consider yourselves awarded - and keep up the fruitful discussion.

Thank you, Dorte! I like it there too. It is users like you and the others that make it such a nice place to be. Anyone who wants to co-administrate is very welcome, by the way!

Thank you, Beth!

Maxine: I am sure you know that I mean what I say about the room. And I know we are welcome as co-administrators, but I think we all have lots of influence, and recently even I have figured out how to add links so for my part I am happy with the way things are - and I hope there is not a lot of work involved in it for you?

Oh no, none at all - it is so easy. I just post links to articles that I read anyway, it is no trouble at all. I am just glad that the people there like it - and maybe more will join.
