I don´t know about you, but what I had expected from
my place of work was a bouquet of flowers or something.
I got a unique jar with a very personal touch.

Kelly: I had, thank you. Do you also have ´open house´ birthdays? You just put a notice in the newspaper - and get c 80 guests.
Open house birthdays? That's a new concept to me. Interesting!
Kelly: it is quite common in Denmark. The idea is that you don´t have to sort your friends - everybody is welcome, and everything is fairly informal.
