This week´s quotation comes from a debut.
“I let the telephone fall from my hand. Panic first cripples and then revives me. My fingertips tingle as they feel their way around the coffee table, scrabbling first for my car keys and then for my mobile. I seem to have eight limbs as I try to get dressed in the dark, pulling on my coat and a pair of oversize sheepskin boots that I usually wear as slippers.”
The Rules:
If you recognize the quotation, or if you think you are able to guess who wrote it, please post a comment. Just leave a hint, do not spoil the fun by giving too much away. The book will be reviewed on Friday or Saturday.

I give up. From my side you won on this ocassion Dorte.
Good description of panic! I'll be interested in finding out the title.
How lovely. I can't make up my mind if the box is Dutch or Greek.
Jose Ignacio: Amazing! It doesn´t happen often.
Elizabeth: the writer certainly begins with action, not description :D
Tracy: I have no idea, really. And though it is a tiny house, I wanted my readers to imagine a large house.
Whatever it is, it sounds exciting. I look forward to hearing about it.
Canadian??
You always stump me with these posts, Dorte!
Kelly: I am halfway, and I like it very much.
Norman: no, much closer to (your) home.
Belle: sorry, this one is very new. But my readers are *so* clever that I have to choose a real challenge now and then.
