This may be slightly off topic, but Pluto is still a planet and never was or became an asteroid, in spite of the controversial vote by only four percent of the International Astronomical Union, most of whom are not planetary scientists. Their decision was immediately opposed in a petition by an equal number of professional astronomers led by Dr. Alan Stern, Principal Investigator of NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto. Even now, there are efforts underway by both scientists and lay people to get the demotion of Pluto overturned.
I appreciate comments whether they are off topic or not :) - but I am afraid I don´t know much about planets, and maybe Ms Warshawski does not either. Thanks for visiting.
