NB: what fruit or vegetable are you?

I came across the question "what kind of vegetable" in Peter Temple´s wonderful "The Broken Shore".

He has inspired me to write my own answer, but I will give you time to think about it - and perhaps share your answer.

    Interesting thought... but I hope you are not a carrot? Living mostly underground - not a nice life!
    I would like to be a granate I think!

    I can´t see an underground carrot life should be any worse than 22 years in "Blåtårn" ;)

    Kerrie, I think so. The funny thing is that in Danish the word "granat" not only means pomegranate, but also grenade (shell).
