Dorte - Oh, those Easter lilies are just absolutely gorgeous! Lovely!!I had daffodils/Easter lilies in my wedding flower arrangements, and your 'photos are reminding me of that... Thanks for sharing :-).
Beth: our early spring was horrid, but we have had some wonderful days lately.
Elizabeth: and a Happy Easter to you!
Margot: we also love them, especially because they are seen as a symbol of resurrection in the Danish church.
Barbara: I am sure it is celebrated the same day throughout Christianity, but the customs related to it are probably different. We dyed or painted eggs when I was a child, and Danish shops sell chocolate eggs, bunnies etc. But I have never heard about egg hunts in the garden e.g.
Kelly: thank you! I thought of you when I selected and cropped the top one :)
Lucky, lucky you!!! The daffodils in my yard haven't yet bloomed.
SvarSletBeautiful daffodils! Happy Easter. :)

SvarSletIt just occurred to me - is Easter celebrated the same day and the same way in Europe? Do you do things like dye eggs and make Easter baskets?
SvarSletYour Easter daffodils are beautiful and yes, that top photo is a perfect shadow shot!
SvarSletJob well done, photographer.
