So you didn´t know these funny little stones? They are fossilized sea urchins, and they are quite common arond our cottage (1 km or so from the North Sea). I think they are really beautiful and nice to hold in your hand.
My little sister is a fossil collector, she's got a couple of these ones:) Pretty picture!
Alexandra: I might also call myself a fossil collector, but as I only collect them when I stumble upon them, 98 % of my collection is sea urchins :D
