The reading actually changed my perception of the book, which I'd seen as quite dark. But she read it as it was in her head and imbued it with a lot more humour than I had realised. It made me see the book in a whole new light.Vanda Symonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956034768397598056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725252734697392575.post-79972363263753041462010-09-19T00:11:46.590+01:002010-09-19T00:11:46.590+01:00I would love to meet you as well! She writes brilliantly, but if you ONLY judge it based on the crime and the solution of it, it will probably disappoint you. If you see it as a very well-written psychological suspense story, you may like the second, and I think you´ll certainly like this one.Dorte Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14535044092722418173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3725252734697392575.post-73331905105353734072010-09-17T19:27:18.422+01:002010-09-17T19:27:18.422+01:00I have One Good Turn in my tbr pile, but I remembe...I have One Good Turn in my tbr pile, but I remember picking it up and reading a few pages and thinking, wait, this isn't a crime novel. I think I see it as some kind of Chinese box with an intricate tale about the characters with a crime plot inside.
